I enjoyed reading it.  Thanks for sharing.

Obama does present a reasonably compelling narrative of increasing American influence in the world, which is an interesting change from the currently ubiquitous and depressing "American decline" narrative. Not that I totally agree with the Official View, mind, but it's food for thought, at least.
