Whether they be computer/wargame. Dont have to be anything fancy. A FO3/FONV AAR would be cool. Kind of like an ongoing story. Currently playing a 5 scenario series in CMBB. I'll do a short one on it. That is all.
We were actually going to get some gaming done over the Xmas-to-New Year's week, mainly Victoria's Cross II, Little Big Horn and possibly King Philip's War, but none of these assclowns deserve AARs.
I'll just PM them to you, 11B.

I have B-17 on Vassal. I'll have to run a Languish bomber once I'm used to it.
I believe Syt or Tamas ran one a long time ago.

It was Tamas.
I agree, I enjoy reading AARs. I don't really enjoy writing them though.
I am playing a PBEM TOAW 3 North African scenario, there is a slim chance I could do something with that here.

Pulling a fahdiz, eh? :D
I used to do AARs, but nobody ever seemed to care, and it is too much work.
I would do an AAR of a PBEM game with Berkut, but he has a tendency to stop sending moves.

bullshit, everyone reads it, just can't say a word being amazed. :)
Yeah what do you want me to say Berkut?
'Wow Berkut sure is awesome at losing to Habs'

I did that in my game with Tamas
You disgust me, sir.

Don't want anyone to say anything - but if I write an AAR it is because I hope to generate some conversation about the game. If none is generated, then I don't really have any reason to write the AAR, do I? It is a lot of work, and if there isn't a payoff, I won't be bothered to do it.

You need to climb right on down off of that pedestal Mister.

I really enjoyed your AARs but the main problem was I was not familiar with the games you were playing so I didn't have much to contribute. Especially as I am completely unfamiliar with the genre of weird card driven war games you guys were playing.

It is comfortable here.
What we really need is a new Languish MP game (of anything), preferably with ongoing commentary by the participants.
I might write one soon...but maybe not. :D

I used to really like CDGs, but now there's too goddamn many of them so I'm kind of burnt out on the genre.
The genre isn't the problem--it's the designs made around them.
The CDG format still has a lot to offer. Of note is the recent Martin Wallace offering of A Few Acres of Snow. More stuff in that vein and less shit like Halls of Montezuma is what's needed, not fewer CDGs in general.

Or like Triumph of Chaos, which is in fact a triumph of chaos.
