Still happy it wasn't the big one moving California up to Vancouver island ;)
It was off the West coast of Vancouver Island - kind of the same region where there was a super quake in the 1700s. Metro Vancouver would have felt it but the Islanders would have experienced it. I have friends and family who commented on it to me. When I was living out there i definitely felt a few... not a fun feeling.

Didnt feel it. But others in my office did. I was in a meeting and nobody else in the meeting commented on it.

I don't think it happened often enough to "get used to it". When it did you felt pretty helpless... at least I did.
