The new Polish ID cards to include a chip with data about past diseases and medical procedures of the carrier.

WTF.

Not only is this a massive privacy invasion, I can bet these idiots won't be able to secure this data sufficiently.

Privacy is overrated.  The government has a compelling interest to know who has AIDS.

It's in everyone's interest for medical providers to quickly know in an emergency that you're allergic to some medication before they accidentally kill you with an allergic reaction.  :hmm: Well, bad example in your case, but in general it holds.
