Title: Your most egregious gaps
Post by: Eddie Teach on July 10, 2011, 09:05:43 AM
What do you think are the best known, most acclaimed books or movies that you've never read or seen?  :hmm:

As books go, the one that springs to mind for me is Paradise Lost. Also the stream-of-consciousness type works like Ulysses, Finnegan's Wake and Gravity's Rainbow.

Movies, I haven't seen a lot of the critically-loved foreign films like Battleship Potemkin, Wild Strawberries, or 8 1/2.

Same, but I don't feel any real compulsion to read them, either.
I still haven't seen some of Clint Eastwood's newer movies, like Million Dollar Baby and Letters from Iwo Jima. Or The King's Speech.
