Title: Satellite TV for the PC
Post by: Siege on May 16, 2011, 06:47:46 PM
Is this for real?
They claim one payment of 40 euros, and no monthly payment.
I don't think this can be legal.
There is no way this can include premium channels.

What do you think?

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  If it sounds to good and the web address looks funky, then it definitely is.

Doesn't look legit, but AFAIK there are working sites for pirate streams to dreamboxes and other modded receivers.

Maybe 40 euros gets you all the Romanian TV you can watch.

Are they HD?
Is there a 101 on how to use them?

yes they are in HD.  It's really not that difficult.

First, uTorrent:
http://download.cnet.com/uTorrent/3000-2196_4-10528327.html?tag=mncol;1 (http://download.cnet.com/uTorrent/3000-2196_4-10528327.html?tag=mncol;1)

Then find a good site where they have HD torrents.  For that part, ask Grey Fox, he's the resident P2P expert.

Once you have found your site, all you need to do is download the small torrent file.  Usually, on the selected site, you click on the link of the show&episode you like, and once there it says "download torrent" somewhere.  Once the file is downloaded, double-click on it and it will load in uTorrent.

If you have firewall problems after that, someone can help you.

I resent that. I'm no pirate.
