I'm going to be in Montreal next month, June, between the 24th -26. People should plan on meeting me up there.
Can't make it, sorry. I'm going next week, and maybe in July. But June 24th, I have something here.
I wonder why those 3 days. I've got something on the 25th & you probably plan on partying the 24th. I could spare couple of hours watching you drink beer.
I will be in Paris those days, sorry.

Yeah, it's an amazing coincidence that a guy who previously asked questions about Montreal's International Jazz Festival is coming into town the exact week-end of this event! There are strange things in life, indeed!
I read title as Meat and was expecting a grallon post.

I had actually read it as meat too. -_-
My friends are single and going whoring at night, so I'll be available all three evenings.
Is it gonna be "modern" jazz () or good stuff like they played in the 40s?
I'll be there.
Yays.
Must I understand you're bringing him with you? What about your bride? Or are you married yet? :hmm:
G.
Nah, its just me and two of my crew. But I'm not into strip clubs and whorehouses so I wanted to meet up with my Languidishas.
I'll have a beer. Gay Fox better show up this time.
Hmm. I'm going to take some vacation time either that week or the next, but I'm not sure if I want to drive all the way to Montreal.

It's my b-day week-end, I'll do what I can.

Just do it. It'll be fun. Fox won't bail this time.

We'll see. I'm still not sure which week I'll be able to take my vacation, so it may not be a possibility anyway.
You still need a passport to get into Canada, right?

No. But you'll need one to get back in the US.
Oh well, it'd take me too long to get a passport.
Also, I'm not totally convinced it'd be a good idea to spend several hundred or thousand dollars on a trip right now.
The old days crossing the border used to be awesome. But frankly, a little inconvenience now is worth it to battle the Canadian menace.

Not it won't, and yes it is.

I'm certain it would be most fun, but the only thing keeping me from destitution is my savings. At present, I have no income. Were that to change, it might be different.
I can see where Ide is coming from. Until I was forced to go outside the country, I had little desire for a passport either.
Yeah. I've never made actual plans to travel outside of the country; presumably, plans to travel abroad would be preceded by serious planning, giving more than enough time to obtain a passport.
I guess it would be nice to have one for spur-of-the-moment decisions to flee to France, though.
How long does it take for you yanks?

I don't really understand this notion of not having a passport.
I never renewed mine. Haven,t been outside the country for years either.

A few weeks to several weeks, depending on various factors. If you pay a little extra I think you can get one in like a week or two.

I guess I never had that. I always wanted to flee.
Well how about its Garbs? Its been years.
Peoples must go.
So nobody can meet up next week? :(
c'mon Montrealers, move your butts! I wish I could go, but this week-end is gonna be crazy :(

Oh, I did. Caesar should visit Caesar's dominions in person. Let the slaves think they are important enough so as to be worthy of a visit. :)

We can have a beer or 5 :)
I'll pm you my cell number.
Coolness. My hotel is near the Catherine street place.
Still in France, sorry.
(You'll have to be more specific to Zoups, though... )
Another successful Languish meet. Thank you Zoups for beer and a pleasant diversion.

Cheerio! It was fun. Giant middle finger to Montrealers that didn't show up :glare:
We gossiped like little girls about all of you guys.
(not really).
No, not really. Just Berkut, Hans, and Martinus.

And as I've already explained to Wag, I wasn't in the mood to socialize last weekend. And considering your reactions I was right to stay home. <_<
