Post by: Scipio on May 07, 2011, 03:23:33 PM
I need to back up my DVDs.  Any thoughts?

I was recommended AnyDVD, for HD-DVDs, but it's the same software for Blu Rays, IIRC.  It works well

Theres another one I used, DVDFab, and I tought it worked pretty well too.  Very simple to use, but may lack features of AnyDVD.

Both have trial versions, I'd suggest installing both and seeing for yourself :)

Every single time I have installed DVD software, the drivers, codecs and whatnot interfere with some driver or another and the Bluescreen Blitz begins.

Handbrake is free to use, wich is really nice.  However, it's nowhere near as convenient to use as the other softwares.
