Title: Some nifty little tool I found
Post by: viper37 on April 16, 2011, 01:48:43 PM
Secunia PSI.  PSI=Personal Software inspector.

This will check your PC and tell you everything that is out of date.  Flash, Chrome, Mozilla, VLC, everything.   You can then let it install a solution automatically (doesn't always work) or click "Install solution" from the scan result.  You'll then be prompted to download the software piece you are missing, and you just have to install it.

I've been using it for a few months on all of my computers, and I can't live without this.

I've had this on this PC for close to a year, maybe more, though I forgot about it until I saw this.  It is a very nice tool.
