I love it, a beautiful women of a certain era and it shows people having fun.
But I wonder would any of those boys have any 'thoughts' about the girl ?
I think at their age, I'd have been clearly aware the girl was beautiful and lovely, as in some you'd have an immediate crush on, but I don't think I'd have harboured any sexual thoughts whats so ever.
So when did you become sexually aware ?
The kid to her left seems to being checking out her breasts while the one on her right is checking out her ass. I think the one in the back is a young Marty.
It's hard to say. I remember first looking at a Vamperilla in 4th or 5th grade and being quite into it, but that could have been the thrill of the forbidden. First stiffie didn't come until much later.

Yeah, I think at least one is aware, I'd love to know the backstory to the photo, some NYC park in mid-70s, I'd take a guess it might part of some publicity shot, I wonder if those boys still remember the occasion ?

Yes I think that's quite a common pattern, as a child I loved french and italian films, the women were beautiful but it being foreign helped a great deal; the mind entranced well before the 'equipment' starts to function.
I recall the image of the moment as if it were yesterday. I think it was in my 6th year. That feeling of utter despair knowing that women would have such power over me for the rest of my natural life. Thanks for making me think about it again.

Too bloody true.
heh, nipples.
14 or 15 or so I guess?
Of course these days things are messed up for most, so much peer pressure to act older and feign interest where there is none. I never fell in for all that but so many others did.
Yesterday. This "pornography" thing is amazing!
Actually, I'd reckon at some point in elementary school. I'm sure I wanted to fuck things by middle school, but I believe the impulse predated that.
I became aware of sex before I was interested in Sex.
Attraction to the opposite sex-- quite early. Almost disturbingly so when I think back. I think I started 'ranking' girls in my classes as early as 1st grade. Started to really notice more developed females in 2nd grade.
Probably a good thing I got ignored by girls until 8th grade.

Late bloomer?
Around age 10 or 11 I guess.

I saw my first nudity in a movie around that time. I know I had a stiffy. So it was probably before that. The film was Double Impact (I had a friend who loved the "Muscles from Brussels" and his parents let him rent R rated films.
Around 6th grade.
Though like Derspiesse I started identifying girls as pretty before then.
1st or 2nd grade when I found my parents' porn stash.
11-12

Oh, yeah, I knew if a girl was pretty or not before I really cared.
I remember one time, I was outside playing, and 2 teen-age girls happened to be riding bikes past our yard, and one of then wrecked and hurt her knee. She was sitting on the sidewalk crying, and my mom came out to see what was going on. The incident has stayed in my mind because it was the first time I had seen someone who wasn't a little kid like me crying in public, and I said something to my mom along the lines of, "Isn't she to big to cry?" and my mom explained that even grown-ups cried sometimes. Anyway, I remember that I noticed that both girls were really pretty, but that realization was, for lack of a better term, academic--it was just an observation, not accompanied by any lust. I must have been 4 or even younger when this happened, because it was before my mom had married my stepfather.
When I found my father's stash. 11-12.
I had a lot of female classmates, and some of them were quite good looking. I never had any "thoughts" about them, and I was one of the few who didn't date anyone before university. Not sure why. Probably because I was certain that no one would be interested in me.
There were different stages. I realised there was something unspeakable bad people wanted to do when I wasn't allowed to play in the park in just my knickers aged 5 or so.
I decided I liked boys around 10 and played kiss chase to lose.
Not long after I started secondary school around 12 or 13 I realised just how much people talked about sex, and how much comedy innuendo was about it.
There is no question that discovering boys from about 14 or so was one of the major distractions that shifted my school work from consistent A-grades to distinctly average :Embarrass:

Perhaps. Hard to say though, there was an age when I began to see girls that way but then for a long while I wasn't too bothered about them really, wasn't until the end of school/college that I really said 'right, want a girl'.

You people consistently manage to blame men for all your troubles. :P
That's a really good question. When I was 7 or 8, I had droves of girls who chase me around to kiss me. I had to hide in the bathroom at school sometimes. I guess I came around when that stop.

Yes then.
I was a young lad when Inge, my luge teacher called me into her office. When I walked in, she was wearing nothing but her boots. That was when I discovered women.
I remember she did not shave. Her blond pubic hair flowed like a river to Shangri-La.

First boner was for Tracey Gold on Growing Pains. Would have been ten or eleven years old I guess.
9 or 10. Although in pre-school (so 4 maybe?) i did have two "girlfriends" who i played house with. There was nudity invovled which highlighted the disturbing lack of supervision we got at the school.
It depends how you define sexually aware.

Well yes, when something happened always depends on the definition of that something.

Well, the way OP defines/discusses it, it is rather confusing. Does it mean "first time you experience sexual thoughts/arousal" or "first time you are aware that your thoughts are sexual"? The word "aware" would imply the latter, but he seems to describe what would more fall into the former.
You know thinking about this question more, has gotten me thinking about how I interact with members of the opposite sex.
:P
It was a long time ago, some I'm not too sure. Likely though in elementary school. maybe grade 5 or 6. I never started becoming obsessed with girls until Jr. High though... grade 7.

Accidentally discovered porn around first grade, was a full-swing oversexed little monster probably by around age 8. Still not completely sure if that was abnormal or not- even here, hearing a pretty wide range of ages.

What second graders did you go to school with? Based on your "1st grade, 2nd Grade, 8th Grade" I assume you're American, and most 2nd graders I'm aware of are 7-8. Early ass bloomers?
On a different note, I got my first stiffy in 6th grade, was wanting to hump things by middle school. (7th-8th)

They may have been 15. It was West Virginia after all. :P

He was in 2nd grade, but the girls may have been older.
Also, you don't hump things. You hump women. Gay is not the way.

What about pies?
At least 3 people so far talking about when they got their first erection, all very late. No one has said anything. I've had them as far as I can remember often without being able to control it. You seriously mean to say you never had erection until you were 10 or so? I mean chrissake children get them from day 1 and even before birth (google "erection in utero").
Heck, I even remember one of my friends (let's call him Bob) in 3rd grade saying something like "Man, I wish I was grown up so I could fuck" and then another one of my friends getting up to announce to all the other children "Hey guess what Bob just said..." I know it was in third grade because I remember very well where it was and it was the place 3rd graders would go after school. By then I had been masturbating for some time (without ejaculating obviously) and I'm pretty damn sure my friends had as well... If you google there are lots of sources for kids masturbating from day 1 (and yes, in utero!) but, uh, guess I should mention that some of the pages somewhat seem to be motivated by more than intellectual curiosity...
I remember getting a stiffy watching an episode of Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman where she had been kidnapped and was tied up or tied to something, don't really remember but it had to be between the age of 5-9.
As I said before, for me it was a rather long process, and it is unclear what "sexually aware" in that context means. I know I had hots for guys' feet as early as maybe 5 or 6 but processing this into "I'm sexually attracted to guys", and then into "I'm a gay man" took me the next 15 years.
I wish we had internet back then - would have taken me much faster. :P
For example, I distinctly remember a scene from a stupid 1980's comedy "Overboard", which has Goldie Hawn rub Kurt Russell's feet, and remember getting a stiffy. :P
Since it came out when I was 10, and I saw it on tv, must have been 12 or 13 then.
