Apple under fire for gay conversion app (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/8393974/Apple-under-fire-for-gay-conversion-app.html)
QuoteThe app is offered free on Apple's iTunes online shop and was given a "4+" rating by the company, meaning it is not considered to contain objectionable content.
:lmfao:
That is some funny shit right there.
Normally I would side with Apple, since I don't think it is or ought to be their job to filter content for their users. If some dipshit wants a gay conversion app, who is Apple to say they cannot have one?
However, since Apple has already gone down that road of censorship, this seems like as good a candidate as any to be removed on the grounds of it being ignorant and offensive.
I truly wonder how the hell this slipped in under their radar.
We are definitely not at war with Apple. We have simply sent a moderately worded protest note, but usual diplomatic channels remain functional.
I don't feel comfortable when Martinus tries to speak for gays of the Modern World.

It must be sortof like when Mugabe speaks for all blacks, huh? :hmm:
Martinus' attempt to be gay clashes with his attempt to be a hipster.
You'd think that Apple would be more sensitive to the feellings of the vast majority of their customers.
