Option 4: Jaron doesn't know what proponent means

For your consideration.
It depends on the situation and the location. I'm more likely to apply the 5 second rule when I'm at home as opposed to being at work. Also, it depends where I dropped it. If I dropped it in a bathroom I wouldn't eat it but if I dropped it on some grass I probably would.
Yes but only for solids
Although busted by the MythBusters, that just says "what the hell, go for it."
Fuck no.
The what?
Only in Iraq, because everything was already so dirty any way. :P

The what?
That it's ok to eat something that fell on the floor if you pick it up within 5 seconds of dropping it.
Yeah sure.

Same
I voted the "what" option, but as for food that you have just dropped.
Pick it up. If it doesn't look dirty, eat it. If it is solid, looks dirty, but can be brushed, brush it off and eat it.
"Do not waste food" is the whole of the law.

The alternative would be the "Sloppy Seconds Rule".
You filthy beggars. :x
I've always heard it as the 3 second rule.
Yeah, I think it adds a nice dimension to spirit based regeneration.
Never heard of it.
Looking it up-...ehh....depends how hungry I am, how valuable the food is and how dirty the area.

The three second rule is how long you leave between yourself and the car in front on the motorway. After they pass a landmark, like a sign, you say, "Only a fool breaks the three second rule" and you should reach the landmark after you finish or you're going too fast. :nerd:

That's only applicable if you drive (too) slow.

You can both be going a hundred miles an hour and that will still work if you keep the right distance.
Absolutely not.
