If we have to lose the gold to someone, can't imagine who I would rather lose it to - hell of a game, and nicely done.
You guys put on a great party. :Canuck:
Thanks. :)
Cheers.
If we had to beat anybody in the final, it was nice that we beat the USA :D
Thanks. :)
I felt exactly the same way about the ice dancing. :P

I have to say, had we lost that game there'd have been nothing but respect from me for you guys. That was damn tight, and damn exciting. When you scored that 2-2 equalizer, I thought that was it.
That was a great game. I thought the Americans would break when they were down 2 but they came back strong. Best game I have ever seen.

I also had that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Huge, huge props to the Canadian players who came back from such a gut-wrenching goal to win it.
And yes, that means I must be a Crosby fan now. :o

Its worse then that. I can't hate Toews when the Blackhawks beat the Canucks anymore. :(
No problem Berkie.
Canada! Canada! who knew we had so much patriotism in us, eh.
Congratulations to Canada for winning your first gold medal in hockey ever, or whatever the fuck you were so excited about.
We look forward to beating the ever-loving shit out of you in London. :showoff:

If you want to impress anyone you should set your sights at beating someone other than Canada in the summer games.
We can't compete against hordes of underage chinks. :(
:showoff:
I dunno. China had the home field advantage last time and they've never done that well in the past. I think we'll beat them in London. Especially if Russia gets their act together, as they seem to be strong in many of the same sports.
Truely nothing as unseemly as smug Canadians.

At least you're in Alaska. Imagine how it is here in Canada; smug canucks everywhere
Good for the Canadians. They're so cute when they win.
Sorta like the way my niece beamed at me when I let her win at Uncle Wiggly. Adorable.
We don't win at anything often, so allow us our smugness. Everything will be back to normal shortly.

Speaking of that we need a new Canadian olympic smilie with an oversized maple leaf and a gold medal.
I hope Camper wasnt watching the hockey came on TV. All those maple leafs in the crowd would have given him a heart attack.

Depends on whether the Russians figure out new ways to dodge the doping tests.

I'm sorry.
Once in a while, a nation is allowed to be smug.
This is one of those times.
