Title: Going back to States next week (R&R leave)
Post by: Siege on February 07, 2010, 07:18:54 PM
Yeah!!! I'm going back to States next week for 15 days R&R leave. My wife reserved a balcony room in the MS Westerdam, a cruise ship from Holland America Lines. Never even heard this cruise line existed. Anybody here have cruised with them? Is the booze cheap?

So, one week in Miami Bitch, and one week in the cruise. Then back here to this hellhole.

It's a different brand name of the Carnival cruise lines nowadays.

You  have been on a carnival cruise before, right?

A cruise sounds a bit institutional for a chap on a fortnight's leave from the army

Back in the good old days you'd have got a voyage on a troopship for several weeks when you re-deployed.........and all for free  :D

Yeah, we cruised with Carnival last August, and it was great and relatively cheap.
I hope this one is the same way.
