A bit of mis-communication happened earlier today as I was describing my samsonite bag to a female relative who's going on a 2 week trip out of the country.

I was wondering whether I was perhaps being my usual self, or whether they were just slow on the uptake.

This poll needs an "I can put the Hooker's body in it" option.

Huge.  I'd either assume it to be either large enough to fit at least a petite woman into or else a diatribe on the way women stereotypically *never* travel light.

But to elaborate, my brother made the phone call, and he asked me if the bag is "large" and since I don't know his frame of reference, and certainly don't trust my own on the subject, I had to attempt a visual descriptor which OBVIOUSLY failed.

Most women I've come across in my 43 years of wandering the planet tend to come with lots of baggage.

Not sure if that helps or not.

i picked small, because usually ladies size is smaller (clothes and the like). But thinking it through the sterotype is that woman over pack so it could mean large. So, i, like your friend, is lost as to your meaning :lol:

This one.  I would draw the conclusion that the describer is either a moron or being deliberately obtuse.

Usually big.  But it could also be so tiny as to be useless except for holding small dogs.
