No matter what USB port I try, it can't detect it.
Fuck that, all my USB ports aren't working. Fuck.
Uninstalled all my usb ports. on auto reinstall, still nothing.
I'm no help, but curious does it mean it's a Win7 problem or hardware failure ?
Hardware failure was my thought as well, much as I'd like to blame windows...
I would be especially pissed if it were hardware failure. Everything appears to check out right.
I've done a system restore, and the problem persists.
I'm gonna backup my puter, wipe the badboy, and reinstall everything.
Good luck white chocolate!
Fucking Microsoft backup won't backup to any Dvd or CD that I have, despite the fact that it's supposed to. POS.

Fuck you, you drooling troglodyte.
BTW, should anyone else encounter this problem, it seems to be caused by BIOS issues. I reset my BIOS, and everything is fine.
I did continue with a clean Win 7 install, anyway.

Anyway, good to know you figured something out as I had a similar problem with my USB Hub on Vista... I haven't fucked with it since (and it's currently disconnected) but I was gonna try it out again when I eventually upgrade to Win 7.
