Premium eggnog is for food elitists.

Yes. And homemade? Please. I don't have time for that.

Same as Monkeybutt.
I tried eggnog once, just because I was curious.
There won't be a second time.

I'd add 151, to cover up the nasty taste of eggnog

I suppose if I wanted to waste alcohol I'd use something unpalatable like winner's cup. Sadly, no one would be a winner. :(
I've still never encountered the stuff.
Anything with 'egg' in the title that isn't well cooked egg though instantly gets my seal of disproval.
I don't think most commercial eggnogs have raw egg in them. Typically all they are is milk, sugar syrup, spices, and emulsifiers/thickeners.
Yeah. Homemade eggnog and maybe some of the high quality Whole Foodsy type 'artisan' nogs may have eggs.
The eggnog french toast, made with my eggnog bread was good. But the combination of fat and booze made me incredibly sick all night.
Worse they left me with two containers of eggnog iced cream and two containers of various flavored nogs. The stuff won't go away. :(
I'm with Cal on the rum thing. Also, we discovered we ran out of milk on Thanksgiving and used egg nog to make one of the pumpkin pies. :mmm:
