Title: Windows 7 professionnal for sale
Post by: viper37 on October 26, 2009, 09:21:02 AM
Can't upgrade my machines with this, I wish to sell it.
The box is opened, but the software has not been installed

Windows 7 Professional Upgrade (English)
160$+shipping.
Contact me by PM if interested.

You can only perform an upgrade if you have Windows Vista Business, otherwise, you need to do a clean install.

I figure I'd run into the same problems then you would.

Student price?  'Cause the pre-order price was 160$ with shipping and taxes.

Sounds like he needed the "Home" or whatever upgrade version instead of the Pro, so there shouldn't be anything at all wrong with the one he's selling.

I thought that I could upgrade over Vista Home Premium or Ultimate with this version, but I can't.
I need Win 7 Home Premium to update my Home Premium Machines, and I can only upgrade Vista Ultimate with Win 7 Ultimate.

It would still work on a clean install (format the HDD), but I don't want to do that.
Some people may have Vista Business or may want to do a clean install, so it could be more useful to them than me.
