Anyone played Cities XL? Any good?
I know nothing about it, just saw it on Steam. I got the impression there are no random maps but surely this cannot be the case... surely?
It's an MMO.

a heavily modded SC4 is still topnotch, even 6-7 years after release.

Myeah, it was OK but...very resource intensive and that you had different parts of the map sectioned off from each other as seperate cities wasn't great.
Played the demo, thought it was ok, though not great. What irked me most was that the game (while allowing offline modes) was geared towards online playing in persistent worlds, plus downloadable content for purchase (e.g. minigames where you can run a shop in your city), and subscription fees for new buildings.
