So there was a bank robbery in Warsaw, and the police have released a picture of the robber. You can hardly see anything about him except the way he is dressed.

Well, probably low chance of finding him based on it, but still there is some, provided he didn't change... only that the robbery was a month ago and they released the picture now.
:face:
It takes a while for the film to come back from the developer.

They had to wait until they finished off the roll

You can also see his shape. Better than nothing.
This is a Polish joke? It's not very funny. Many crime pics aren't really passport standard but can still let someone who knows him recognize him.

He looks kinda scrawny; in a month, he could have bulked up in muscle or fat and be unrecognizable in profile. If it was a week, shape would be better than nothing, but this long there's no guarantee even his shape is the same.
I sure he'll go back and try to get a savings account at that bank. He's Polish after all.

Still beats the Unabomber drawing.

Not sure if it is one of your dead-pan jokes or if you are serious here, but my main beef with this is that it took them so long to release the pictures, making them virtually useless.

How are they useless? People who know him have suddenly forgot all about him?

I wonder if he's bought a glass-bottomed boat, or a submarine with a screen door, or a solar-powered flashlight.
There are glass bottomed boats. They have those in Cayman Islands.
And I'm pretty sure there are sun-powered flashlights, or at least should be. You power them up during day and can use them during night.
What about the screen doors on the Polish submarines then? Huh?
