Should I take the day off? I've taken a day off last week and the week before (although that was after working for 27 straight hours, so it doesn't really count.)
Been a real busy summer, I'm burnt out. Having trouble keeping my eye on the prize. Etc. I have 3 weeks+ of vacation time and a bit of comp time left over.
Yes.
27h is almost 4 days of work.
Yes. Productivity is down like 90% on Fridays anyway.
Taking a day off is for wimps...

Oh god what a horrible poster
In honor of Wags and his indecision, I am taking the rest of the day off.
I'm home.
I got up at 5am an dwent to jazzercise because teh girl has been bugging me to try it. Those chicks are intense.
I think I might leave early today. I can pretty much come and go as I please. :)
I am going in late and leaving early, if I go at all.
nothing happens on a Friday, especially after lunch.
its a good time to catch up and clean off the desk. and then go drinking.
I have to be here, President of Division is giving a speech at 1.
Altho, he probably wouldn't miss me. Free lunch too.
Also to reinforce Sask point. It's 10:30, I have been here since 6:45 & I have achieve absolutely nothing so far.

Those are intense workouts!
I was going to say yes, take the day off, but you already did. :)
It's a long weekend this weekend in Yukon, so I'm counting on the boss letting us go home early. I have morning docket court however, so no taking the day off for me.
see Grey Fox, there is a thing as a Free Lunch.

not if he has to sit through an hour long PowerPoint presentation.
maybe its animated?
By the way, I voted "YES" for taking the day off. You deserve it. Enjoy.
I vote no. Get your lazy ass to work and be productive. The economy of the US needs hard work to build it back up.
I'm going in slightly early... if the bad weather persists I won't get to go home early. :(

nah. what the US economy needs is more innovation (game modding and game playing) and more consumer spending (beer and more beer).

It wasn't animated. It was actually pretty boring stuff, I didn't listen to atleast half of it.
Atleast he kept it short, just about 1 hour. He's usually in the 2 hours ballpark.

That powerpoint could go on to win a nobel prize.
Now I have a 2:30 witness meeting. :(
Christ I didn't even make to lunch before I lost all interest today. That was the longest 4 hour work day of my life.
