Option 2: No

Option 3: Jaron

Just curious. Here in Alberta most mask mandates disappear tomorrow - July 1. There are still requirements in specific situations (on public transit, and for me they're still being required at the courthouse), but in the majority of situations you don't need to wear one.
I don't know if I will keep wearing one when I go out to stores or wherever though. I did get my second dose, but it won't fully kick in for another 13 days.
So what is Languish doing? Are you still wearing a mask? Why or why not?
Masks become optional here effective July 1. There use is still recommended, just not mandatory. I am not sure why it is not mandatory if it is recommended. I will likely follow the recommendation and continue to wear a mask.
Nope. The lack of effectiveness combined with my being fully vaccinated for some time now means I only wear it in places I'm expected to--shops that require it and packed public events.
It depends on where I'm going and how crowded it is. If it's a grocery store that's regularly full of people, I wear a mask. If it's a farmer's market outside and kind of busy, no. Big box stores that are rarely packed, like Lowe's, no.
Your poll doesn't account for that, so I voted Jaron.
Stil have to wear one indoor and public transportation. So yes.
Yes - if it's indoors/an enclosed space.
It's still mandatory here there until, I think, July 19.
Only on the city bus. Signage says that's from the CDC and it will be lifted 9/13.
Generally not. I will do so if it is required though, I always have mine in my pocket.
But, you know, I was vaccinated months ago now and have tested negative pretty consistently so I don't think wearing a mask is going to protect others much, especially when generally very few others are wearing them.
I'm fully vaccinated so no. Of course I don't really go anywhere except the grocery store and I only go there early in the morning when very few people are there.
Masks have vanished almost completely in a matter of days. They're only mandatory on public transport now.
I still carry one in case some place asks me to, like at the dentist yesterday.
Our outdoors mask mandate expired 5 days ago. In my area most people are still wearing it. I still wear it to most of the time too.
Taking the Fredo side, outdoor mandates were a little silly, unless it was a place where people were packed together.
Oh that's one thing - we have never had an outdoor mask mandate. Ours was always for indoors only. Why you would mask up outdoors completely escapes me.
Austria moves from FFP2 to regular face masks in shops, public transport etc. tomorrow. The government hopes to get rid of the mandate three weeks later, but experts are pessimistic.

Made sense early on. After the summer of 2020 it was evident transmission outside wasn't really an issue though.

Same. Never required here and I always thought it was a bit mad when I saw footage from people in New York or wherever.
Still mandatory at work. I would wear it regardless. We still have plenty of cases. Just today one of the interns. And I suspect my boss as well.
So yeah, still wearing it and being cautious in general. Most people still wear them even outdoors, despite them not being mandatory anymore.
I've worn a mask twice, once for the dentist and once when I vaccinated against Covid.

No more masks at work as long as we can keep a distance of 2m.
Don't think we have a rules change on July 1st and afaik, mask is still mandatory inside commercial areas, like groceries or any other retail stores.
So, I'm wearing the mask where it is required, I don't do anything extra.
Indoor with many other people I will continue to wear FFP2 masks as it reduces the likelihood of infection.
It is likely that you can still transmit even if you are vaccinated yourself.
I have regular contact with minors that cannot get vaccinated here yet. I feel that I owe them whatever I can do to protect them as well.

it only appeared here during the 3rd wave, with the UK variant, medical mask mandatory for work and sports outside. I remember lots of people freaking out that kids would pass out during July while playing baseball. People freak about everything these days. Anyway, as I expected, that mandate is long gone.
They're still recommended for public transport, I think. So yeah.
I guess I should mention that they are still required in the US from the moment you enter an airport to the moment you exit the airport at your destination.
Just got the email we're not required to wear masks in our office as of tomorrow.
Nice of them to give us so much warning.

Why? Delta variant?
I'm shocked so many voted no here. Its an obvious yes for me.

Why what?
I just meant the province (for whom I work) announced 2 weeks ago that the overall provincial mask mandate would be gone as of July 1 (which is Canada Day of course). But that only covers people in public places. As an employer it's up to them what we do with masks. They managed to wait until June 30 before announcing what happened in our workplace.

Oh whoops. I misread your post and thought you said you were required.
Sorry.

I mean I am vaccinated and there are very few new cases around here. Am I supposed to wear it forever?
Of course. In Hong Kong, everybody wears a mask. It is also a legal requirement. But this is actually bottom up. Even if there is no legal requirement, people will wear masks, and will make everybody wear masks. The legal requirement is there as a result of popular demand. It is to provide the legal backing needed for most people to make the very small number of people who refuse to wear masks to wear masks.
The legal mandates ended here earlier in the month and while I still carry one in my pocket, I have not worn one since. If I went somewhere where the business owner or the law still required one, I'd put it on. I'm fully vaccinated.

I'm vaccinated. The CDC announced that anyone who is fully vaccinated can go maskless indoors. Masks are slightly unpleasant.
It's an obvious no for me.

I stil feel a bit odd walking into store and not masking up, but that's just because of residual Pavlovian conditioning.
Nope. I still carry my mask but the only place I've worn it lately is Jersey Mike's (sub shop) because for some odd reason they are still mandating them, but nowhere else around here is that I know of.
Yes, Korea has been making progress on the vaccines, but still is nowhere near vacced enough to discard masks.
I don't really wear one regularly but Quebec's indoor mask mandate remains in place. I expect it will last thru the fall.
every weekday for up to 10 hours. there are breaks.
Same as Otto; I have a mask in my shirt pocket with me at all times, but I only wear it where I'm required. By now it's essentially only required in mass transit. When the mask mandate was lifted, many stores initially had very passive aggressive "you don't have to wear a mask, but if you're not an asshole, you will" signs, but within a week they were replaced with "you're welcome to not wear a mask if you're vaccinated" signs.
Yes, I live in a largely urban area so it's kind of difficult to keep social distancing all the time.
I'm working from home so that doesn't apply and when going shopping it's mandatory inside.
When we go for a walk during the weekend I remove it outside if there's no one around.
I still wear a mask in accordance with the rules and expect to stop wearing one the moemnt the rules change on the 19th.
I don't think I would have coped well if the rules had ever included wearing a mask outdoors; too stupid.
We never had much of an outdoors mask mandate. You were supposed to wear one if minimum distancing couldn't be maintained, but outside of a few occurrences (demonstrations, young folk partying in public spaces) it was rarely enforced. There was briefly a mask mandate in a few public areas in Vienna, but those were locations where young people hung at night to party.
Tonight, clubs are re-opening at 75% capacity. Patrons need to be either tested or vaccinated or recently recovered from Covid. There will be no distancing or mask requirements in clubs.

I do recall that early on it was encouraged so that people would be less inclined to constantly fiddle with them / accidentally transfer covid from surfaces to their mouths via their hands.
No.
I'm fully vaccinated and there's no legal requirement. I sometimes still check my pocket for a mask when entering a store.
