One of greats. :(
RIP :(
The humble giant. He was one of the best spokesmen for human space travel I've heard.
RIP :(
RIP.
He jokingly said NASA sent him to the wrong planet, that it should have been Mars.
RIP. But his achievements with NASA don't erase his past with the IRA. :(
The Smithsonian had a write up on him:
Remembering Michael Collins (https://airandspace.si.edu/stories/editorial/remembering-michael-collins?utm_source=si.edu&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=teaser)
Collins is significant to the Smithsonian (in addition to his role on the Apollo 11 mission) for being fundamental in the establishment of the National Air and Space Museum and later being its director.

Has a biopic ever left out more than Liam Neeson's Michael Collins?
I wonder if there's any truth to this?
As it makes me smile.

And that attitude is why NASA didn't let Michael Collins walk on the moon. :P

Yeah but he finally succeeded in finding a place not invaded by the British. :hmm:
