I think Trump is less likely to kill us all, but I can't get myself to vote for him. I'll take my chances with the other lunatic.

There's a chance that Kayne would forget or not care that he had been elected, and just not show up to be inaugurated.  That's enough to get me to vote for him.  He'd not have a VP, so I guess the House would pick the acting president.
