He describes it as "advanced".

That's too bad.
He kinda dropped off the radar after 2000. I know he's still got a radio show, just nobody talks about him.
His radio show appears to be still quite active. I wish him the best in this, as I would for anyone. I've had several relatives with lung cancer. Some made it quite a few years, others not so much.
He had the back of the tobacco industry all these years, and this is how it repays him. :(
Hope he pulls through.
I don't.

I don't.
I have nothing nice to say so I'm saying nothing.

Back in high school, we got to vote on what radio station to listen to during lunch--the top two would be listened two on alternating days.
Rush Limbaugh finished in the top two, but the school administration refused to play his show. It was my first direct experience with the vast left wing conspiracy.
Also, Rush Limbaugh has been around a long ass time.
My dad subscribes to The Limbaugh Letter. The guy who I bought my house from also subscribes, since I keep getting the damn thing (you'd think he would have noticed by now he forgot to update his mailing address, but no). I think only old white guys like Rush.
Still, sad to hear this. Nobody deserves cancer. Fuck cancer.
Don't care.
Trump is giving Limbaugh a Medal of Freedom. Which is only slightly better than Trump trying to give himself the Medal of Freedom.
Nobody deserves cancer, but some are far more undeserving than others. Those who made $500 million spreading hate and intolerance are probably not high up on the undeserving list.

He ceased being the only one decades ago. Many of the guys who followed him were far worse.
I thought he was at least entertaining in the 1980s before Clinton made him go insane.
He was primarily spreading a message of greed rather than hate.

He doesn't sound like he was much better in the late 80s when his show went national.
I figured this guy would be out of commission already, but he seemed to be on the air today. Maybe he's skipping the rads and chemo?
He's raised an absolute fuckton of money for cancer research over the years for leukemia and lymphoma. The wrong kind of cancers in his case.
If I was in his position I would skip it. After seeing what it did to my dad and the fact it only got him an extra few weeks - my personal judgment would be it's not worth it.
I believe he's going through chemo and working part-time.
Well he's definitely still working:

Yeah that is the kind of crazy shit that has been his show the past 25 or so years.
It was apparently too much to hope that this piece of shit would focus on his cancer.
He makes it very difficult not to root for the cancer.
So glad he received my nation's highest civilian honor.
From Trump. That's an asterisk for sure.
