Any Languish reviews yet?
I am: very tempted.
Seen a review on Youtube that it's badly broken and poorly balanced, it's basically a random chance whether you are even able to win any particular mission.
I crowdfunded it, but I am waiting some time for the bugs to be ironed out and the game to be ready for consumption.
It won't be another year before it hits GOG or Steam anyways. Early birds have to use Epic.
I plan on playing the console version, so waiting.

Apparently you need to handle ammo manually like in the early 1990s X-Com. So I will pass.
That would be a minor gripe to me. Not having unlimited ammo I think strengthens up the tactics a bit...so long as there is some kind of viable way to improvise in the field...either sharing ammo, or even making melee combat (i.e. sneaking up with a big ass knife) even somewhat viable, even if desperate. In all the XComs, melee/close-quarters was just instant death.
Your soldiers won't even reload their guns between missions for heaven's sake.

I wonder what Mart would have to say about the intelligence level of servicepersons.

Ok, that is definitely bad.
