I'm tempted to buy the latest Lego Mindstorms set as a present for my son (10 years old), but it's fucking horribly expensive - € 380!! - and I want to be sure it is worth the monies.

Anyone here has ever used it? If yes, is it a good set?

My gf absolutely loves the things. She even teaches kids to build and program bots. :nerd:

I don't get the appeal, but don't tell her that. :P
