What will your first real virtuality world be?
Oh shit, did i just created a new term by mistake?
I am a fuckin genius!
Let me quick google this thing to see if i can claim it.
Damit, some faggots got a game with this name.
So disappointed.
Anyway. What will your first real virtuality reality will be?
For me, i think it will be a Game of thrones world.
Highly original, i know.
I think i will set up my character as an all powerful skinchanger, human taker, probably in kings landing, during Roberts rebellion.
Alternatively, i would love to set my character during the war of the 5 kings as a vassal of white harbour. I like those guys.
Or maybe as a vampire in colonial America, or the Master Chief in Halo.
So many choices, so much time left to get to that level of virtual reality.
What would be your choice, if the quality were like real reality and you had no limits to choose?
 I'd pick a beautiful world full of wonder where I could go on a new adventure every day with friends and lovers.
Something erotic and loosely based on ancient Thebes.
Some place quiet where I can read a book.
I'd create a classical civilization where all the citizens hold fierce opinions about subjects they obviously don't understand. Every day they citizens go to the forum to bicker. Debates may be won through either a series of witty insults or sheer obtuseness.
Either that or maybe something like the land of Ooo, but with prettier princesses. :)

I see what you did there.

You win -_-
I don't get Girolamo's post.
Why a classical civilization?
I mean, if he is trying to be clever and make an analogy for Languish, the last setting i would use would be a classical civilization.

It's an allusion to democratic Athens and their love of public debate.

Exactly. Here in languish there is no public debate, other than among a few socialist flavors. Languish is suppression and ridicule of conservative values while whitewashing the failures of leftist policies.

Which is funny because all the real leftists all left due to this being a 'conservative American board'

Any world without religion would be just fine.

A fantasy world with no clerics? But who will do the healing? :(

A doctor or science.

There has been nothing in any of your posts since your conversion to fully paid up Tea Party know-nothing that indicates you have the slightest idea what debate consists of. Posting some online blog screed then whining when people disagree with you is not debate. Evidence. Proof. Causality. Repercussions. Preferences. Those are the elements of debate.

If there is one common denominator for Languish posters, it's misantrophy. :P

You can't be loathed or loathe if you don't loathe yourself.
Put that on a motivational poster.

I have to keep working hard so I don't misantrophy away?

You need to work hard to keep your levels of misanthropy up. Alternatively, you could just follow the current election coverage.

The term "Forum" comes from classical antiquity: Forum_(Roman) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forum_(Roman))
QuoteI mean, if he is trying to be clever and make an analogy for Languish, the last setting i would use would be a classical civilization.
Oh, I don't know, we're not that different from the classical world. For instance women play only a marginal role here. ;)
To answer your question seriously, Siege, I'd create a fantasy world that was filled with fun and adventure (similar to
The Hobbit) but with a certain amount of wackiness akin to the Land of Ooo from "Adventure Time".
