Saints were +3.5 for what it was worth.
I guarantee the Raiders don't lose this week! It's my lock of the week of the century! Other headlines include the quest to remain perfect for a few teams and the return of Beastmode. Apparently his family was better at praying over the phone to heal injuries than Shaun Alexander's were. There's also the "marquee" matchup between the Pats and Colts. I expect Brady and Gronk to do war crime level damage. Finally, I feel bad for anyone who has to watch Jacksonville - Houston. Ouch.
Some dude on Youtube named Dave Volsky has put up tons of NFL films music up organized where you can look it up based on what highlight film it was on. It is pretty badass.

I always was fond of this song from the Super Bowl XXIII highlight film, this time put to various runs by Larry Csonka, Jim Kiick, and Mercury Morris of the 1970s Dolphins. Pretty sweet.

Good start to Dan "Raw Meat" Campbell's tenure. :)
That was the most bizarre fuck up I've ever seen by the Colts.

That did look very weird. I guess they had hoped to mess up the Patriots defense and force a flag or something. The coach should definitely had called a time out when that didn't happen instead of having two players try to gain 3 yards against 4 defenders.

Players should have known to just take the delay of game and a 5 yard penalty if they didn't get what they want.
I loved this play.

Giants- Eagles. First half was a battle of retards. So many screw ups and too many fouls.
Manning totally fucked you with that pick six.

Indeed he did.

For the life of me I can't figure out what that trick play was supposed to do. Trick the other team into thinking the ball was over on the right sideline? Set up a gigantic 9 man screen pass?
The receiver receinving the ball should have been further out, in shotgun, so to gain speed.

The whole idea of trick formations is to gain numbers and surprise. The guy receiving the ball only had one guy blocking for him, while 2 guys were on the line and another one or two in support.
So yeah, he would have had more of a chance in shotgun, but that wouldn't change how monumentally stupid it was.

This.
So even with Eli screwing me over last night I'm still the 2nd overall on pts for which is comforting for my playoff chances.
Anyone for a trade, RB for WR? I have 4 very productive RBs but lack a proper 3rd WR.
Eddie Royal?

Eddie Royal?
Is on bye and not consistant enough. :P I found this Diggs fellow on FA and might just check him out now that Percy Harvin decided to fuck his hip up.
Slim pickings, I don't think I have a proper 2nd WR.
Summer time is over this Sunday which means we get nfl one hour earlier until the lazy Americans catch up on us. Means I don't have to stay up until 5 am to watch 49'ers not play.

And this week you even get one (awful) game at a decent time!
