Yi can post the lines or something.  I'm too busy doing the happy dance at the Dolphins' house cleaning.

It's football, it is sleep inducing by itself.

No. Probably not.
Well, it might be a close game due to shittiness, so there's that.

You forgot the magic word Moldy.
What am I missing about Colts/Texans?  Best young QB, most dominant defensive player.

Luck won't be starting second straight game with shoulder injury

				Asoka.

Unless Brady gets hurt the Pats should be a lock to cover.

If they were a lock to cover, Vegas wouldn't have set the line there.
That said, I gotta admit, I'm surprised the spread isn't bigger.

Or maybe 30 year old Emmett Smith and Troy Aikman step out of a time machine and suit up for the game.

Plus you know Belicheat will run up the score in the 4th quarter.

Home field, plus Wheedon looked pretty good IMO.
Still 9 looks a little short.  I might take 14.

No idea, but the bookies are very good at setting the lines (after all, their livelihood depends on it).  And I did say that I'm surprised that the spread is that small--I would have guessed the Patriots would be favored by
at least 2 TDs, given all of the Dallas injuries.

Only guess is because it is road game for Pats.

You have to remember that the bookmakers aren't trying to predict the final score, they are trying to get 50% of the money on both sides of the bet.  That way they break even on the bet and win with the rake.  I would guess that New England is a team that a lot of people like to bet on, so their lines are usually a bit smaller than they would be if the book was trying to predict the score.

It's the Mermaid Bowl (Danish Super Bowl) between Triangle Razorbacks and Søllerød Golddiggers. It's like watching NFL on half speed.

Yup, which is why for you sometimes read about smart money waiting for a big city like New York moving the line before they play.  But in your example New England bets would move the line up, not down.

Yeah, but you have it backwards.  If a lot of money is getting put on New England, the spread should get bigger to encourage more to be bet on the Cowboys.

Yeah it was early and I had it backwards, it is the Cowboys that get more money than they should.  I knew that but wasn't quite awake yet.

I feel bad for NaVarro Bowman.

				*sigh*

Dallas pass rush is fucking scary with Hardy on it. I can't remember the last time Brady got hammered so badly. Very impressed with how the offense adjusted and ended up scoring 30 points.

With that offense the Dallas defense can't be expected to keep up.

I got to be on the sideline with Erin Andrews.  And the Bengals won so they're 5-0 and stuff.

The League seems unusually unbalanced this year. There are six undefeated teans and eight or nine that have one win or none.

Week 5 had 10 games that were decided by seven or fewer points. The NFL said the total number of such games through five weeks is 40. That's the second-most through fives weeks in NFL history. There were 41 in all of 1999.
