The prospect intrigues me.
Yes, a power cable would still be necessary, but that's easier than also having a cable to the computer.
I want to adapt my set up so I can easily move between my desk/soon-to-be-kotatsu-coffee-table depending on my level of seriousness and tiredness. A wireless monitor would help here.
Has anyone had any experience with them?
Whats the way to go? Purpose built or some sort of adapter?

Yes. Yes they are. Though it probably won't be done till spring :lol:

So I guess I'm alone in my wireless monitor dreams. It does seem a bit niche

I don't know what you need here. Just plug your computer into the tv & sit on the floor if you want to be Japanese.
