"Did you really enjoy playing this?"
Never had one, because we were teh poor (had a C64 instead, because LEARNING, and an second hand NES with a few games). I bought an SNES with my own money, though, when I was 16.
I thought Gameboys were pretty freaking lame at the time. I vastly preferred just playing on my NES. But damn were they popular even kids in 2001 and 2002 were still playing Gameboys.
Never owned any Nintendo system, save for the 3DS we bought Tommy that he never plays.

Want to mail it to Canada for a can or 2 of maple syrup?
Never saw the point of a game boy either, NES though, that was the shit.
Syrup in a can? Goddamn canucks.

Both I and my brother had a Gameboy, and even that little link cable that let you play two-player games on it. It was ossum at the time.
Modern children are very annoying.
I played "Electronic Quarterback" in the late 70s. It was Awesome!

Didn't have a Game Boy, I was a bit too old then. We played Game & Watch stuff in the 80s though.
One of the 13 year old kids was a pleasant surprise.

That's just children of any era.

Kids should be forced to play "Pong" and like it! :menace:

That's not a new development.
I had a gameboy and I loved it.

 Oh, good, another game with a straight, white protagonist. Very modern.

Yup me too. It was especially great because we went on road trips a lot so it became indispensable.

Seriously, watch the first couple minutes of the clip.

Dunno, I found their "Elders react to Gangnam Style" and "Elders react to GTA V" better.
Elders react to Grind On Me. :)
I was thinking more of the source material than the commentary. The Elders can be pretty funny, but they're more likely to be presented with very popular material. The really bizarre stuff gets shown to the "youtubers" or occasionally the teens.
I guess it depends on whether you like mainstream stuff or bizarre stuff. :P
I enjoy things that surprise me. Online. Not so much IRL.
The Gameboy thing reminds me of something that happened when I was a kid. My parents owned a campground in central PA near Penn State and alot of the campers were actually white trash hicks who lived there for most of the year (the campground was closed in the dead of the winter... no idea where they went at that point).
Anyway, one time my brother and I were up there and we were sitting on a bench playing with a Gameboy. These two hillbilly kids came up to us and were like "Whatcha doin?" My brother showed them the Gameboy and their jaws dropped. "A... Game.... boy? WHOT THE HAYULL?" It was like they'd seen a UFO or something.

Not likely. While I do like Reese's Pieces, I really hate phoning home. :hmm:

We don't believe in clean energy 'round these parts, son.
Neither does Norway, but we try to look like we do. :uffda:
I thought it was kinda lame back then too. It was enough of a hurdle that when my brothers were using the NES or SNES I would read a book instead of going to the GB.

You guys are screwed once we figure this clean energy shit out. Guess you'll have to go a-viking again. :)
