Hey Tim, do you know any (native) Korean speakers with a slight editorial bent who'd be willing to take a look at a website for me? I've had my company website translated to Korean, but with professional translation sometimes you get some wacky stuff, so it's good to get people to give it a quick once over before I release it to the general public.
Here's the site: http://site.shinyplus.com/ko
So hey Tim?
Just saw this. Not sure if I know anyone who would want to do this. I'll think about it.
I know a native Korean speaker, but we're no longer on terms good enough that I could ask her a favor since she really insulted me and I've decided to no longer speak to her unless necessary. Otherwise, I'd get her to do it. Sorry. -_-
And, no, I don't mean Korea.

You don't mean... North Korea? :o
:o
Maybe. There was a Vietnam. Not her.
I mean, sure I wanted to fuck her/had a crush on her, but I got over that and it wasn't about that. It was a woman from my class in law school whom I've known for 5 years, with whom I've hung out once every couple of months for the past two, but who didn't realize I was a vegetarian and--this is the important part--had the bad manners to tell me, in front of other people, that we were "friends in name only" when I protested (facetiously). So I decided we didn't have to be friends of any stripe.
When you protested what?
That we'd known each other for half a decade and she didn't know (read: remember) basic facts about me.
I mean, that was kind of insulting, but who cares? It was the comment afterward and the form it took that really, really pissed me off. It was demeaning and disrespectful, so fuck her.
Hey Ide, you want to come over for dinner? I'm making tofu burgers.
But substituting beef for the tofu.
