Nothing more needs to be said, just the passing of a great person.

His brother, Mike, used to come to my school once a year to hold a folk music workshop, just out of the love of music.  Mike died about 5 years ago, but I gotta say that whatever genes one has to have to be a musical genius, that family had them; both parents and five of seven children made their living as musicians or composers.

An uncle, Alan, was the Alan Seeger who wrote the famous WW1 poem "I Have a Rendezvous with Death."

RIP, Pete.  You wrote the greatest antiwar song of them all, "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?"
