Is WS_FTP still around (and free)?

I haven't needed to FTP in years, come to think of it.

we have a new host, so I gotta do some work.
they are recommending one of the following:

Cute FTP
Smart FTP
WS_FTP
FlashFXP
LeapFTP
FTP Voyager

if you just need a command line interface I like psftp (http://chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html). Simple and fast.

I've used both WS_FTP and Cute FTP, both are ok if a little clunky in places.

Around 2004, I used to use SecureFX, I can't really say much about it. It got the job done? :unsure:

its been years myself, so I have to relearn what I have forgotten.

looks like WS_FTP is only a 30 day trial.

anyone use Fireftp? it's free.

maybe I can do my work using WS_FTP's 30 day trial, then rely on firezilla or fireftp once I get the hang of FTPing again.

I think I used Cute FTP like 5+ years ago and it worked well...
