Title: MOurn the Computer
Post by: Darth Wagtaros on October 16, 2009, 09:47:50 PM
My ancient Dell Precision workstation that I use for my media PC has blue screened.  I suppose I could decipher the error lights on the front but I don't know that its worth the trouble.  I mourn the loss of the old games that were on there and the DRM protected music I foolishly purchased from Napster. :(

You might still be able to salvage the files-- try putting the hard drive in an enclosure & connecting it to another pc (or just connect it directly inside the other PC).

Yes. I could ghost it or something.  But the old games would still be unusable.  I miss it already.

Find someone else who has them installed and get them to send you the registry values for those games over?
