A voté! :frog:
Aubry, although it'll be Hollande. I'm ok with that.
I have to say the Union Francaise in Montreal is totally UMP. Those folks were not helpful at all when I inquired as to how and when to vote for the primaries. I'd be curious to see the numbers for the presidential election with french expats only.
Those old bitches gave off a distinct Frontiste odour. <_<

Aubry :yuk:
Madame "je capitule devant les islamistes" en accordant des créneaux réservés aux femmes dans les piscines municipales lilloises.
Do the Frontistes have a particular smell about them?
I always have a hard time knowing who to support in French politics, because the issues are sort of foreign to me and there's no one party that captures my imagination.
Results of the first round:
Flamby er. Hollande 39%
Aubry 30 % (meh still too much a surrendering to islamists figure)
Montebourg (de-globalisation and pro reality TV ban guy) 17% : very good score
Bécassine a.k.a Ségolène: 7% (good riddance)
Valls (right wing of the PS) 5 % ()
Baylet (non PS, pro-marijuana) 1%
Well, at least Royal is gone. I never did like her.

Results leaked (too early) in Montréal. Something fishy over there...
