I've been helping my buddy out with some writing for an indie horror game called the Chant. The teaser trailer came out today.

Looks very high spec for a indie horror. Most I've seen purposefully go for retro looks.

Needless to say I won't play. Scary games hurt me. Might check a let's play :p

Yeah for sure. Sleeping Dogs II would more be my speed as well... the characters interaction and stuff, I like. The horror less... but my buddy went for horror, so that's what we did.

I guess you could call it AA, maybe? They found a publisher and all, so maybe it's not completely indie, but it is a small studio doing its first game.
