I just checked the link and the study was of Japanese people. They have a pretty sexist/traditional society over there; so much so that many women are avoiding marriage and children entirely; I would like to see similar research for Brits/Yanks/ Germans etc etc before drawing too many conclusions.

Likely that.  Men end up unable to live alone.

Men are incapable of learning to cook and clean?

Likely not. Experiencing and learning new things is also associated with decreased dementia.

The more likely answer is social isolation and the way men and women experience that after the death of a spouse.

If anything is disturbing in that polling, it is the Democrats extreme softening trend towards the PRC thugs.*

(*though this is of those overly vague polls where you cannot be sure if it distinguishes people/culture from governments)

And the shocking display of foul temper.

Nice! I have the starter sets, but haven't gotten a chance to play yet. My first ttrpg was WEGs Star Wars and my first long campaign was Star Wars d20 edition, so Star Wars ttrpgs have always held a special place in my nerd heart.

Then your premise is still flawed...if the suggestion from the polling is that "American approval of the UK/Canada is dropping because of Trump/MAGA", then one must conclude that Trump hates the UK/Canada...then how are they still 60%+ approval from Republicans, and not ~zero?

Edit:  I would add that I am not saying that I disagree with your premise of "Republican support for Trump was not eroding"...I am contending that the evidence/polling you posted is a non sequitur.

Doesn't really support your premise.

The only thing that polling has shown me is that Republicans more and more dislike "furriners".  So, no surprises.
They follow where Trump leads. There is no break within MAGA.
