Surely, for companies/businesses, the line between an April Fools "joke", and just plain lying, must be razor thin.

I would think for a business, the only safe AFJ is one that is easily, and over-the-top obviously absurd.

So it's someone unrelated to the game making a joke?
This reduces the hilarity greatly

Quote from: Tamas on March 29, 2024, 09:29:50 AMDiablo IV is now on Game Pass. I think I'd get carpal tunnel if I kept playing it.

Also GFN enabled.

It worked on reddit. :P But Paradox's April fools' on their forums were a bit lame:

I feel April Fools becomes less popular nowadays as we get inundated with fake news/padodies/"pranks" online 24/7/365 :P
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I bought Helldivers 2 on a lark and I'm a little addicted

Playing it exclusively on Steam Deck though so it looks like ass. Still really fun.

Liber-tea is tasty :D
Had a good game yesterday: joined a gang of randoms, we were going hard against the bots but lost 2 of our team. One to a bug with reinforcements and one to a rage-quit I think. Anyways: the remaining team-mate and I finished the mission against almost overwhelming odds. Very tense, but very fun.

Tamas

Am I right in thinking there's no point in playing Helldivers 2 as a casual solo player?

It's not nearly as fun but can be good practice or as a way to test different weapons.

Not sure if you still play WDS games, Tamas, but they recently released a title based on Operation Frühlingserwachen in March 1945 in Western Hungary: https://wargameds.com/collections/new-products/products/spring-awakening-45

Oh wow, thanks, I have their Budapest 45 game, didn't realise they have made this one as well.

OMG there is a typo in the name of my home town. NO SALE.

As exclusively solo no, but it has quickplay so you can get easily matched with randoms. I've been playing with randoms doing casual low to mid difficulty missions and having a good time.

I think if you have a serious group then the game gets really interesting at the higher difficulties. But I'm not too interested in that. I just want to shoot robots and bugs with randos.

Meant to reply to tamas but I'm too lazy to fix it lol

Fellow Helldivers, will we be able to liberate Durgen from the robot menace in time?
