I feel like once again we are giving them too much Oxygen. Musk and Vance comments being rejected should not be top stories for BBC.

This is a particularly awful murder and the Hampshire police certainly have questions to answer.

Meanwhile American politicians, such as Vance, and billionaire bellends such as Musk are interfering in British politics with inflammatory and stupid comments.

What is the reality though? Homicides in the UK are at the lowest level for 50 years; there were 499 homicides in the year to September 2025, and that includes manslaughter and infanticide as well as outright murder.

Hard cases make bad law; respect to Nowak's parents who understand this and are comporting themselves with dignity.

It looks real nice, but I fear I may never find another five people with the determination to do a full session.

Currently playing it with my boardgame group and loving it!

I'm up for a Vassal game.

It's on the list to try at my usual cons this summer, so will try to report back at some point. I am pretty hyped for it, considering my love of/experience with HIS and VQ.

We could try to get a Vassal game of IE going...  :hmm:

It was only half-joking. :P I think nowadays they are more interested in their own local/regional hegemony than saddling up with the EU.

Are Bosnia, Albania, and Kosovo also perma banned then?

Bosnia is too unstable, barely holding together. Unless divided between Greater Croatia and Greater Serbia ? Great ! What could possibly go wrong?

Kosovo would be vetoed by Greece, at the very least.
Albania? Italy could perhaps support it, but Greece?
:hmm: I would not bet on it.
