I've had it identified to me that Austrias hair and makeup was taken from Arianna grande. The costume remains unknown.

Quote from: Legbiter on May 11, 2024, 05:15:46 PMYeah that Swiss zoomer is inexplicably popular with the national juries. :hmm:

I get it. The guy has skill. He was hitting some Mika-Freddie Mercury high notes at the start and then he was doing some really physical prancing about whilst keeping up a totally steady voice.

I don't think he'll do so well with the public. That's where the fun songs will shine. But the judges will be pros rewarding technical skill more.

Meanwhile on gay Twitter: "I have to be honest here, it's probably the greatest fucking song ever written"

Quote from: Josquius on May 09, 2024, 09:37:09 AMIn big news at the moment, the Tory defection is pretty dodgy.
So the Tory whips have clearly dumped a lot on the Sunday Times over her. I'm not sure it fully works - and I feel in part it must be trying to warn off any other possible defectors.

On the other hand this Telegraph story is too perfect to be true - inevitably it is possible it's all about a planning dispute

"It has also emerged that Ms Elphicke is seeking planning permission to convert a garage she owns in Dover into a two-storey house, and needs the support of the Labour-run local council to overrule objections from neighbours."

The proposal:

Love the opening line "questions to answer" about "turncoat MP"

Quote from: HVC on May 11, 2024, 02:13:40 PMJust crossed a sad little anti Trudeau rally downtown. 10 people and a megaphone. At least the yeller seemed enthused.
