Good. Obama =  Joffrey is quite a stretch, though.

The Tyrion/Trump connection is the weakest.

Trump = Tyrion and Obama = Joffrey?

I think Hillary is more like Olenna, personally.

They look pretty dark to me.  :hmm:

That is better than the one done by the Trump fan.

Bernie -> High Sparrow connection is the best one.

Well you can tell that was written by a conservative.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

"Small Hands" Trump and "Littlefinger" Baelish are both rich from shady adult entertainment, are not clearly aligned to one of the political camps, and are outsiders scheming for ultimate power. Seems an obvious match if you look for a GoT analogy.

They have a completely opposite m.o. though. Baelish is all about scheming behind the scenes and ingratiating himself to everyone. Trump is everything but. Tyrion may not be the best match for Trump, but they certainly share the "foulmouthed straighttalking jester" and "leverages money/position inherited from rich father" aspects.

On the comparison, I think Obama as Joffrey is obviously mismatched, and potentially Paul as Ned. I think both Clintons, Sanders, Rubio and Cruz are in fact very well matched. The jury is out on Trump / Tyrion connection, as Tyrion is obviously the beloved character on the show and people will not see eye to eye on him being Trump, as Trump is highly polarising.

I think (even from a conservative perspective) Obama would be best compared to Daenerys - a beloved "saviour" with a messiah complex, who constantly makes blunders and actually sucks with day-to-day politics.

Trump supporter, more like it. Both Rubio and Cruz are not getting treated much more kindly than Clintons or Obama.

Martinus

In fact, I think that Rand Paul would work better as Rob Stark - Ned is clearly Ron Paul. :P

Tyrion is the brother of the Queen and scion of one the major families of the land. His active time in politics was all about keeping his House in power. And he was reviled by the people of Kings Landing and his only power base was being rich and well-connected. You can't get more establishment than him. He is the witty and energetic twin of Jeb Bush...

Martinus

Doesn't matter. Rubio and Cruz aren't brothers of Bill Clinton either - Game of Thrones is about four powerful families, so you sorta have to ignore that if you want to make a good analogy.
