Yeah, but he probably won't let me hit them.

Nope.

But timeouts work wonders.

Until they go to school and watch other kids blow off time-outs.
Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Yeah I have no idea how this thing came to be, but it's been the case for quite a while. That said, I think anyone here on a work visa can apply for PR after a few years; not just the nannies.

So I guess it's just that live in nannies are in short supply in the Canadian job market.

Well if you want to, here's your chance.  All you have to do is look after 3 little kids for 2 years in return for minimum wage. :)

That's what happens when your only border is with the US.

Is it weird that now that the nanny is a "tyranny" people are actually asking for pics?

"Tyranny"?

Is that a form of government in which BB is ruled by a despotic tranny-nanny in his own home?  ;)

Or they go - hmm my room is full of things to do. Timeouts aren't really so bad. :D

No kidding.  I had a blast being told to go to my room.

They sure do.  I like how they act like they're being tortured when you're simply making them face the corner of the room while sitting in a chair

When we were little, my sister and I had to sit in the two recliners in the the living room, and not allowed to get out of them.  15 minutes = a lifetime of solitary confinement.

 :(

What about moving east? You can go back to prosecute for the Feds & pay 35$ a week/child! (plus the ungodly amount of income taxes to fund all that).

;)

I think you'll have to bite the bullet & pay 2100$ of day care.
