Thought it was an SFC not Officer?

cause it is.

QuoteThe Army said a sergeant first class, whose name was not released, is accused of pandering, abusive sexual contact, assault and maltreatment of subordinates. He is being investigated by the Army Criminal Investigation Command. No charges have been filed.

Interestingly, back when I was S-3 (Training/Operations) NCO-In-Charge, the training location I needed to send "Unit Victim Advocates" (soldier assigned by Commander with "additional duty" of sexual assault prevention) was in Las Vegas. :D I tried to go myself, but had a scheduling conflict. :(

Oh, for fuck's sake

Quote(Newser) – And Lt. Col. Darin Haas makes three. Haas ran a program to fight sex harassment at Fort Campbell in Kentucky—until he was arrested in a domestic dispute. Haas, who turned himself in in Tennessee, faces charges of stalking and violating an order of protection, the AP reports. He's been relieved of duties at the Army post, which saw him working against harassment and sexual assault and working to promote equal opportunity, said an Army spokesman.

Haas and his ex-wife are feuding over child custody, and each has an order of protection against the other, officials said. But Haas kept trying to contact his ex-wife this week, a police rep said. "The ongoing investigation is to determine whether or not he violated the actual provisions of the order of protection that applies to him," said the rep, adding that Haas is near retirement and will be replaced immediately.

You know if the subject matter were not so serious this could be a pretty good comedy.

Well, at least the military was hiring experts on sexual assault.
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.
