I switch back and forth between my phone and iPad.

Okay, so now I'm friends with PRC, and sent a friend request to Berkut.  I'm in for some MP action.

OK, started a new game. Lets give this a shot...

The MP framewaork for this is so much more well developed at first pass than Eclipse.

I've joined the game... interesting "leader ban" option!  Any comments on what race you chose or should you keep that revealed for "first contact"?

Berkut

I passed on the ban, I just like the idea that you only get leaders for a certain length of time.

I chose those bird things. I think.

The Draske?  Whelp, you must be a long lost off-shoot colony of my own race!  That's all right, like Vulcans and Romulans we're cousins and being family it's only right that we team up on any "barrister" like race out there.

Barrister

I'll get started tonight, but to warn you it might be pretty late.  Been a busy day today and, surprisingly, I have plans tonight.

Got move in.  It, of course, took 30 seconds.

I think these early turns will be a bit annoying.  Not much going on so you want to crank through the turns, but unless we're all playing at the same time it'll go pretty slow.

Yeah, would like to see some configurable "please just process turn until something interesting happens" ability.

Although I'm impressed - we're cranking out a huge number of turns tonight.  sure, nothing much is happening, but is sure beets doing nothing at a turn per night...

The nice thing about the iPad is you can sit there doing other things...

The early start may have been a mistake (though that's how I'd usually play MOO2 (I think it's been awhile)).

It feels like only now am I getting somewhere.

Agreed. The early start in MP is just kind of pointless.

This game is really quite good.

The game itself is not super awesome with cool graphics and all that, but it is "good enough" from a presentation standpoint that you can focus on the game itself, which so far looks like it had some pretty interesting choices and different ways of playing, coupled with a very decent MP framework.

If you own an iPad and like wargaming at all, you should get this.

Yeah, this game is pretty tight and our MP session has been quite fun so far.  Would love to try a session with more than three players.
