Women want me. Men want to be with me.

The Illuminati are king of tangential to the HR plot.

Beat the game.  Was kinda disappointing.  Apperantly there was a moral choice system, but it makes no difference and you don't even know it's going on.  Last level really sucked though.  Fight a bunch of zombies and then a weird bondage machine for some reason.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Talk in the Civ5 thread, instead of making me get G&K or play 5 again, has reinspired me to play Civ4: Fall from Heaven II again.

I think the dude would do better making a FH2 mod to Civ5 over trying to pump life into that Fallen Enchantress game.

Eternal Sonata on the PS3. Was told it was a good RPG and I really felt like an old school RPG. It is...bizzare. Set in Chopin's head during his dying moments. No really. The classical music fanboyism you get in japan is strange stuff. Fairly fun so far though the plot seems pretty uninspiring- being told from the get go that anything you do will be meaningless as nothing is real....yeah.

King of Dragon Pass on the PC. Quite fun for a while but then suddenly foot shortages became regular and impossible to fix, my people starved. Which was a big anti-climax. Reading guides apparently you have to invest heavily into sacrificing to crops related gods. Shame I have to start again, was enjoying it.

I note Cities in Motion 2 was released recently. Don't have it yet though must investigate!

KoDP isn't the sort of game you play once. It's more like a roguelike in that aspect. Fall in love with losing, because you'll likely do it a lot.

Yeah. Would have liked to lose in an epic fashion however rather than just slowly starving to death. :(

How many times can you use treasures btw? Seems kind of random. Some are obvious one use but I got a few out of my bagpipes of troll scaring before they vanished.
And any idea how to break alliances properly? Feels dodgy to just attack an ally...

Fired up Mig Alley. Couldnt believe it ran on win7.

I generally dropped LA Noir. It was pretty but didn't feel like much of a game.
I've started on Sleeping Dogs. It is pretty great, the Hong Kong setting is a lovely change from the typical generic American city you normally city. There are a few bugs and minor points of annoyance but generally this game: Yey!

He likes to city all the time, city all the time, city all the time.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I picked up Vice City and San Andreas for cheap during its recent Steam sale, for nostalgia's sake. I really wish Rockstar would finally do a 70's themed game. Or return to the 80s/90s.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Cities in Motion 2- I am unimpressed. They've made a few backwards steps in design. e.g. Metro stations are one way only now when really they should have been making them so multiple lines could be the same station.
And what on earth is the difference between a trolley and a tram? I thought trolley was jus American for tram...is it one of those busses that can use overhead lines? Weird
