Sorry, I can't sit through another Hitler rant.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

LA Noire: Big fucking downer with the totally telegraphed bullshit ending.  Really?  The best you could do was bleakify L.A. Confidential's movie ending?  LAME.

Thanks for the news. Sounds like they got their money.  :(

D&D game was a bit short maybe but fun. They went to a Djinn wedding and the Halfling almost got crushed by an elephant, and later got to put a beatdown on an NPC blowhard in a Blowhard duel. (loud obnoxious player who favours the "Leroy Jenkins" style of RPG-ing vs. my blowhard NPC of the game: a poncey pirate named Ringo) They also made a big move dealing drugs they stole from some Gorilla people (Hadozee) and made a lot of GP. Oh and I finally outfitted their characters a bit better with some of the loot they've been ignoring.

It can be hard wuth Noob players who really aren't interested in character creation so much... I need one veterean player to join my group. One who can handle my almost never consulting a chart, or table. I wing most everything and we move along at a great clip.

Their next mission save an Audrey Hepburnesque "Nun" from some Ogres who've moved into her Abbey.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo.

Lots of fun, typical action RPG with cleaner combat- sort of Darksiders meets Dragon Age II, with a WoW aesthetic.  Didn't get a chance to experience crafting or the presuasion-type skills, but I'm almost sold on it.  Has a good old-skool feel, with lots of opacity sitting on top of the numbers, but with a few number factors thrown in (success percentages for lockpicking, persuasion, etc.).

Oh, who am I kidding?  I'll probably buy it.  It was a hell of a lot of fun, and in the 45 minutes of the timed demo, I wanted to keep going.  Also, I completed nine quests in the 45 minutes, which gives it a nice MMORPGer feel to the questing.

PC.  I only have a PC and a PSX.

Not even a PS2? Get one it's 100$ plus a great backlog of games.

How were the controls? KB & Mouse?

Curt Schilling's game!  I wonder if there are any ASL easter eggs.  :hmm:
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

KB and Mouse.  Predictably excellent, given that Big Huge Games and 38 Games worked together on it.  Big Huge has always had excellent control schemes.

If I have a spare $100.00, I'm replacing my microwave, thanks, not buying a PS2.

Couldn't remap WASD :( So I played it with a controller.

Seems like a fun game, alot like Fable. Magic combat was fun, if a little slow.

I like the destiny mechanics.

I looted the first alchemy lab you come across. Bad idea, everyone in the village wanted me dead.

I wonder if you can get a bloody sock achievement.

This is behind finishing Oblivion, Skyrim, the MAss Effect 2 DLCs I missed, and Mass Effect 3 on my RPG list.  I plan on playing it in 2014 sometime.

I'm left handed, it makes my hand be a little too close. I like to remap it to UHJK or the arrows.
