British Summer Time BST  has arrived, clocks changed at 1am GMT. 

Time to get more out and about, guys see you on the other side.

My garden seems to have gotten a 10/10 rating among the local deer population. The apples from last year are nicely fermented, and they stumble off nicely drunk. One of them managed to scratch and dent my car.

Having four legs and being drunk apparently is no better than two.

A native wood pigeon known for becoming dazed and clumsy after eating fermented fruit has been named the 2018 bird of the year in New Zealand. Rescue centres have been set up around New Zealand as the birds often fly into windows, garages or fall off trees and hurt themselves. Road signs warn motorists to be careful because of flying kererū, which can cause serious damage because of their size and weight.

Very humane/human? 

Incidentally, I'm not a twitcher/birder, but I did 'spot' for the first time a quite rare bird of prey last week, a merlin.
It was sitting, very well camouflaged in a grey-barked tree at the bottom of the garden.
