Help me out here. I'm not sure which I want. Think easy, cheap, and yet healthy.
Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

Pick two.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I did. Check the poll options. (Yes, I understand what you're saying, but the two options presented hit all three, so there. :P)

Pasta in tomato sauce
Chicken caesar salad (for healthy use fat-free dressing)
grill some pork chops, slice some tomatoes wrap in foil with a bit of oil and also put on the grill, steam some broccoli (or whatever veggie you have on hand)

Pasta - hadn't thought of that; good call
Chicken caesar salad - kids don't like it
Pork Chops - just had those on Sunday

I don't get people using fat-free dressing with a salad.  If you take out the fat in the dressing, where exactly do you get the calories from?  I understand if the dressing is chock full of trans fats, but a dressing based on extra virgin olive oil seems like a must with any salad.

Baked potatoes are healthy?

Go with the baked potatoes, knock everybody out with those carbs.  Nice and quiet evening.

I don't actually know what people eat. :(

Baked potatoes are healthy?

Supposedly potatoes are on of the healthiest foods out there - you can live off of a diet of nothing but potatoes (with some milk).  Which of course is what many in the 19th century did (and why the irish potato famine was so deadly).

Don't confuse "fattening" with "unhealthy".

Potatoes aren't "fattening", either. One large baked potato in its jacket with nothing on it is only 165 calories. It's not the potato that's unhealthy or fattening. It's the crap that people pile on it that is.

In Ukraine, it was an annual tradition to obtain a sack of potatoes before the winter season and store it in one's subdivision of the apartment building basement.  One potato dish or another is pretty much all you consumed during the winter, since most other foodstuffs were out of season or too expensive.  It makes you appreciate the choice of foodstuffs when you have it.
